Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m Fatemeh, founder of IntRest and a PhD computer scientist. I built IntRest after repeatedly seeing how hard it is for restaurants and food platforms to produce accurate nutrition, ingredient, and allergen data. Menus are unstructured, standards vary by country, and manual labeling is slow, expensive, and error-prone. We started by helping restaurants label their menus, but quickly realized the bigger problem was missing food data infrastructure. So we built an AI-driven food & nutrition API that automatically extracts ingredients, calculates nutrients using standards like USDA, FDA, and CNF, applies diet and allergen labels, and even generates food images and recipes.
