Double dosing or not remembering if I took insulin was one of the biggest issues I had when I was using insulin pens to control my diabetes. Using an app or logbook is tedious and the "forgetfulness factor" still exists! Insulog is a brilliant idea 👏
@katesegrin Medication reminders, more broadly, are huge and I think there's a really interesting entry point through the pharmacy benefit manager (as evidenced by Mango Health). Round Health (https://roundhealth.co/refill/) has been bringing similar tech to the medicine bottle and it'll be interesting to see how these guys play out.
Insulog is a new gadget that snaps onto any major disposable insulin pen brand to give diabetics peace of mind. By displaying how much time has passed since the last injection, and how much insulin was administered, diabetics won’t have to worry about double dosing ever again.
This is super cool, in fact many non diabetics wont realise how amazingly useful this is, there's been many crazy busy mornings when I've forgotten if i even took a shot, leaving me in a very precarious position - this could literally be a lifesaver!

This is smart! I'll buy one in the future for my family member
as a t1d who leads a busy lifestyle I can't tell you the number of times I've taken the dog for an early morning walk and not remembered if I took my Lantus.. or in the afternoon in between meetings not remembered the last time I gave myself insulin or how much I gave myself.
