I built Instant JSON Formatter after getting tired of jumping between different tools whenever I needed to format, validate, inspect, or convert JSON. Most of the time, I just wanted one fast tool that could handle everything without making me upload potentially sensitive data to a server. So I started building a browser-first JSON toolkit where the core processing happens locally. It gradually evolved from a simple formatter into a larger toolkit with validation, tree view, search, JSON path copying, diffing, minification, and conversion. This is still a work in progress, and I’m launching it to learn from people who work with JSON regularly. I’d especially love to know: what’s the most frustrating part of working with JSON that existing tools still don’t solve well?
