Access Pro was built and deployed out of internal necessity. There was no other hardware product I could find that fulfilled all the requirements: - Control over entire hardware stack - Control over ecosystem (Cost for Cards or Tags, ...) - Ability to easily program and update - Extensible (attach sensors, magnetic switches, ...) Also, the hardware is designed to withstand operating temperatures between -20℃ and 80℃ with only high quality components throughout. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
