If you really cared about making this for brands and not for stalking you should only allow Business accounts to be tracked. You know this will be used for bad things and you are ok with it.
You explicitly state that this is to track friends, family and partners and this is not ok.
Take responsibility and take this down.
@pedro_designer To monitor is one thing, to harass is another! I haven't thought that this service can be used with bad intent. I'm going to only permit the monitor of public accounts that have at least 10,000 followers - these aren't personal accounts for sure
@pedro_designer After a long night of coding, I've finally found a solution. I'm happy to announce that as of today, InstaMon can be used to monitor BUSINESS accounts only!
When I've built this service, my intentions were good and I never thought it can be used in a bad way. Again, sorry about this!

@tonixx That's a great update! Thanks for taking action quickly on this!
@educavalcanti I think I've fixed it. The email service was using a redirect, for link tracking. I've disabled and now the link in the email is a direct link. Please try to signup again and let me know if the link looks ok. Again, sorry about this and thanks alot!

Doesn't seem to work? When I put in a user, it gives an error when I click "Go"? Errors on page 2: https://instamon.net/step2.php
Super cool project! Signed up. Curious - does Instagram also allow one to track followers of a competitor? Say a weekly email saying 'Competitor X signed up 500 more followers this week' - and can you view the details (name) of followers in email? Do you know if this is possible too with Instagram APIs?
@arjunrajkumar That is a great idea and I'll add it to InstaMon :)

‘You’ll receive an email whenever the accounts you monitor posts videos, photos or Stories’. Why can’t I just turn on my notifications for that particular account instead of using this? How is this different?
@faisal_hassanx From what I know, Instagram doesn't have an option to turn on notifications for a specific account, but for all accounts you follow. Twitter has the option you're talking about. Please let me know if you can test this and if it's possible. I've tried on iPhone and it only has general notifications, not specific ones

This is remarkably ill considered and the chances of it being used for foreseeable bad reasons are high.
@indefensible In order to minimize those chances, I'm changing the service to only allow the monitoring of public account with at least 10,000 followers - there's no way that's a personal account
