I built Inspection OS after noticing how inspections are still handled in a very manual, fragmented way. Photos in the camera roll, notes in WhatsApp, reports written hours later in Word or Excel. It didn’t make sense that something so operational and repetitive still takes so much time. The goal was simple: turn inspections into a real-time workflow instead of a post-process task. So we focused on making the process as frictionless as possible: • Speak in multiple languages instead of typing → create tasks instantly • Capture photos directly into structured inspections tasks • Track progress and assign responsibility • Generate professional reports in seconds in multiple languages Over time, the product evolved from just “report generation” into a full inspection workflow system, including hierarchy management, team collaboration, and even visual issue plan issue tracking. The biggest learning during this build was that inspectors don’t want more features, they want less effort. Every decision we made was around reducing clicks, typing, and back-and-forth.
