Hey everyone! Nick here. I built Inspec after watching my partner (Caitlin, an interior designer) waste hours in Excel creating FF&E schedules. The problem is that Excel is too generalised to be useful for these spec sheets. A key part of the workflow is versioning: handling different revisions and keeping contractors updated which means endless email chains and manual version control. Why we're different: Most competitors try to be everything (full project management). We focused on doing one thing well: making spec scheduling fast, collaborative, and beautiful.
