Hi everyone, this is Deniz, the hunter of Ingestr. I'm thrilled to introduce you to Ingestr - an open-source command-line utility designed to simplify data ingestion and facilitate seamless copying between databases. All this without writing a single line of code! If you need to transfer data from a production-level Postgres database to BigQuery for sophisticated analysis, Ingestr has your back with just one command! We have poured our passion and expertise into creating Ingestr and now, we are keen to learn what you think about it. Give Ingestr a spin and remember to show your support by starring us on GitHub. Together, let's make data management effortless and efficient! 🚀
Burak Karakan
hi all, this is Burak, one of the makers of ingestr. As part of what we do at Bruin, we have had to build quite a lot of data copy/ingestion pipelines that required custom code or proprietary providers even for basic things. We have built ingestr to eliminate this problem with an open-source solution. ingestr is a command-line application that copies data between any databases with a single command. - It supports batch & incremental loads - It supports all the major databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, and more - It is free and open-source Our goal with ingestr is to provide a simple way of copying data between different databases and simplify data pipelines dramatically so that people can simply run ingestr in GitHub Actions or in a cronjob and be done with it. Give ingestr a look and let us know your feedback! We'd appreciate if you could show your support by starring us on GitHub!
