Highlight the informative words. Most highlighters mark keywords, or bold the start of each word the way bionic reading does. Info Highlight does neither. A language model scores every word by how predictable it is from the words before it, then fades the predictable ones. In "I opened the door and saw a cat / I opened the door and saw a UFO," "UFO" gets highlighted more than "cat," because "UFO" is more surprising — it carries more information.
I built Info Highlight because a wall of text is hard to scan, and keyword highlighters mark the wrong thing. A language model scores each word by how predictable it is from the words before it. Predictable words fade. Surprising words stay.
Color and intensity are adjustable. It can analyze on your machine with WebGPU and uploads nothing. Cloud analysis is optional, and that path is private end to end: nothing is stored.
