I'm building indiehackdirectory because I experienced the painful gap between having an idea and actually knowing what to build. Like many makers, I'd get excited about a concept, but then get stuck in "analysis paralysis"—unsure of the market demand, scared of competitors, and overwhelmed by writing PRDs. Too often, I'd either give up or, worse, "vibe code" without a plan, only to build something nobody wanted. I realized that the missing piece in the modern AI-assisted workflow wasn't faster coding, but smarter planning. indiehackdirectory exists to bridge this gap. It uses advanced AI (Gemini with Google Search grounding) to act as an expert Product Manager and CTO. It turns a raw, vague idea into a concrete, validated action plan—complete with real market data, competitor analysis, and structured Dev Plans ready to paste into AI IDEs. My goal is to help fellow indie hackers stop guessing, stop wasting time on unvalidated ideas, and start shipping confidently with a solid roadmap from day one.
