It would be cool to have like a month of testing the idea and to see where it would go. We think an on-demand business is one that delivers a product or provides a services within an hour or two after you request them. Not scheduling or booking in advance.
How’s this different from Postmates or Uber Rush?
We’re not an on-demand business or a delivery provider. Instead we give startups and small businesses the ability to create their own or offer a similar experience to their customers. In fact we integrate with both so if you don’t have your own drivers then we can match your customers with the cheapest delivery service at any given point (USA only). But most of our customers have their own drivers, cleaners, providers…

UPDATE: The Marion story...
Think Marion, she runs a flower shop, but she's losing sales to new on-demand businesses, her customers don't want to have to go to her store to collect the flowers or wait days for them to be delivered. She simply cannot meet these demands and she's not alone! We solve this for people like Marion :)

We now have businesses in 15 countries using our software: UK, USA, Canada, Bahrain, UAE, Germany, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Nigeria, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, China :)

InDemand is a plug-and-play platform for setting up an on-demand store or service, or adding an on-demand component to your existing business. It takes a matter of minutes, and ZERO coding. Think Shopify for the on-demand economy. I especially love the case study about Marion's flower shop.
@tsnkff hey Damien :) we provide startups with the same experience and technology as Uber and Instacart - making it even easier for them to setup a similar service enabling them to focus on the actual product/service without building the technology themselves :)
@alexsaidani Totally, and this is great. It just sound a bit pretentious to me. But the idea and product look good. In fact, I can't wait to see this kind of "on demand for on demand" startup coming to Europe.
@tsnkff we're actually already operating in the UK and Europe - i'm originally from England :) we've got companies in UK, Germany, Switzerland (+ Poland soon) :D
@tsnkff so far we've not had any interest in France - but you could always be the first ;) right now we're only in English but are definetely looking to start translations, it's not held back anyone from using us just yet though :)
@_jacksmith hey jack :) it's similar, but onfleet mainly focus on more established businesses taking a large amount orders. They take a little more technical experience to actually get up and running and you need to integrate it into your current solution - Onfleet is awesome, but not a great fit for a small business or startups without the tech savviness. + they don't give you an ordering system.
@_jacksmith + we can help you do the actual delivery (US only), it can work well for service companies (not just delivery) and it just takes a few minutes - like setting up an online store! :)
@skagarroum@skagarroum hey Skander thanks for the great question! We actually originally started out targeting and providing a solution solely for startups, but after talking to small 'mom and pop' businesses we discovered:
1) Many sell their products through platforms like Postmates, Doordash and Caviar.
2) Lots of them actually don't like their experience through these services.
3) Because they get very little if any control over their brand or customer experience.
4) Postmates etc act as the customer, they go in buy the goods and deliver it, they have no idea who actually bought their product.
5) For 'mom and pops' that's devastating as they get a lot of loyal customers usually and are unable to provide their usual experience and loyalty programs.
6) So our software gives them a solution to own their store again, their product may be delivered by Postmates (or uber etc) but rather than being the ordering system - they just act like the UPS, Fedex or DHL of last mile/hourly delivery.
7) Postmates now only shows featured stores per city, so its really difficult to discover independent places.
There's also really no solution to help service based businesses the ability to provide their services (cleaning, handymen) ondemand.

We'll be removing the mandatory email signup to discover our pricing - thanks for the feedback. Our SMB pricing:
Basic Plan - $29/month with a 3% + 30¢ per order charge
Pro Plan - $79/month with a 2.5% + 20¢ per order charge
Unlimited Plan - $179/month with a 2% + 10¢ per order charge
These plans are inclusive of text messaging fees and order charges are taken after any payment processing fees.
We also charge a $779 setup fee for all native applications (iOS & Android)
