Wasn't there a service like this a few years ago that then morphed into funds that you could invest in. So if I was a successful investor, I could run a "fund" (and get a vig on the money presumably) and when I invested in things, your money would be mirrored the same way. I've totally forgotten then name or what happened to them.
I've been playing around with Increase for a few months now. The product is built by a former co-worker of mine.
Increase allows you to track your investments, discuss your recent/past trades with friends, and provides insightful resources and guides on investing in the public market.
The product is also really well designed! +1
Great user signup flow. Overall a very clean (though maybe safe ) design that mirrors FB and the news feed.

Hi, I'm one of the Founders of Increase, I'd be happy to answer any questions.
@_shahedk Thanks for sharing!
@sanjay We're working on integrating brokerage features that will allow you to make live trades through Increase, and at that point, mirror investor (or friends) portfolios - no specific timeline here, but they're both things we're really excited about.
@ecetweets Yeah the space is heating up! We're excited by a lot of other FinTech startups that are focused on education, crypto, social, and fixing some of the overdue problems in finance.
@DrDreSay Thanks! The interface is modeled after tools and conventions users will be familiar with, we want the UI to fade into the background, and the content / information to be the primary focus.
