Hi Product Hunt, I'm MinshengLiu, the maker of Image to Image.
You can refine the same edit brief in chat before generating. For background edits, our free prompt builder lets you choose a scene, surface and lighting, then apply an editable instruction: https://imagetoimage.dev/image-to-image/change-image-background . Preparing the brief uses no image credits and does not generate an image.
The editor lets adult creators start with an existing photo, choose an editable preset or write an instruction, and compare the original with the reviewed output before downloading. The upload is prepared locally until you choose Generate. The AI editing service uses Qwen Image Edit through fal.ai, with prompt and image content review.
A useful lesson from our real chair example: changing a background can also change the subject's seat, legs and framing. We publish the original, actual result, prompt and those limitations here: https://imagetoimage.dev/image-t.... For exact original product pixels, cutouts and conventional compositing are the better workflow; this editor is for generative scene concepts and creative edits. Source photo: Ellen Qin on Unsplash.
There is one free trial edit per day, subject to capacity and review. The optional pack costs $14.99 for 100 edits, a one-time purchase with no auto-renewal. Deepfakes and face-swap services are prohibited.
I'd welcome feedback on the upload flow, presets and before/after comparison. Which editing task would you want a clearer guide for?
