Create reusable characters, build connected scenes, and turn stories into editable comics on Windows. Use OpenAI with your API key or local models with Ollama and ComfyUI. Save projects and export comic PDFs. Free launch trial; no account needed.
Hi Product Hunt! I built Image Loom to help carry a character through a story instead of losing the thread between separate image generations.
You can save character cards, continue scenes in chat, turn a short premise into comic panels, revise captions, save the workspace, and export a PDF. It runs on Windows with two generation paths: your own OpenAI API key, or local models through Ollama and ComfyUI.
Astra helped with concrete launch work: implementing signed trial access, making save failures visible with recovery actions, and testing real generation and persistence. Testing uncovered two comic issues we fixed: a three-panel request could fall back to a longer sequence, and local image requests could omit the shared character description and style. I recorded the new demonstration in the app, following Nello through character setup, scenes, comic panels, PDF export, and the Gallery.
The Windows download needs no account. First activation requires internet, then access can work offline for up to seven days within the trial. The trial ends November 1, 2026 at 00:00 Montevideo. Annual subscriptions are planned afterward; purchasing is due by October 15. OpenAI usage is separately billed, and local models need a separate setup. After access ends, saved work remains available to view and export.
I'd like to hear where you lose character or scene continuity in your own workflow, and what would help you finish a short comic.
