Hi, I'm Marcello. I do graphic design for a few clients. I also build small tools that run in the browser.
I built Image Lab because I kept sending images to a website just to cut out a background or grab a palette. I wanted one place that does it without an upload.
You drop an image and pick tools. Remove or replace the background. Extract a palette and copy it as Hex, CSS, Tailwind or JSON. Delete or swap a colour. Crop with social presets, resize, redact, dither, or trace to SVG. Each edit goes on a stack you can reorder, and nothing is baked in until you export.
Everything runs in your browser. The background model downloads once from Hugging Face and your browser caches it. Your image never leaves your machine.
Cutouts take about 25 seconds on a browser without WebGPU and under a second with it. It is not a full photo editor. There are no layers, brushes or text.
