As someone who spends a lot of time designing pitch decks and templates in Google Slides, I constantly find myself doing the same repetitive dance — copying, pasting, and replacing images and logos from different sources. One of my biggest frustrations has always been this: You grab an image or logo online, only to find out it’s an SVG, WebP, or some format that Slides doesn’t like. Then it’s off to CloudConvert, or worse — saving locally, opening Illustrator, resizing, exporting… all for one image. 😩 So I decided to fix it. I built my own Google Slides Image Converter, an add-on that lets you drop in any image (SVG, WebP, JPG, PNG, etc.) and instantly converts it to a ready-to-use PNG, right inside Google Slides. No exporting. No third-party tools. No wasted time.
