Hey everyone! 👋
I originally built Image Converter during a hackathon back in 2020 — it was a quick weekend project that turned into a small but handy Android app for converting images between formats.
It never made much revenue (about $22.50 in ad earnings over five years 😅), but it’s been a fun learning experience and a useful tool for many users. Recently, Google reminded me to update it for the latest Android SDK, which inspired me to finally migrate it from my old SVN repo to GitHub and open-source it! 🎉
So now, Image Converter is fully open-source — marking my ninth open-source Android app. The current version still targets SDK 30 (so it may not work on newer Android devices), but it remains lightweight and completely free for those with older ones.
