I started iloveme in 2011. After working as a psychologist in a Psychiatric Hospital I realized that many people didn't find a treatment until it was too late. Their symptoms already developed into a disorder and therefore the treatment was more difficult. I wanted to create a way to reach people in the earlier stages, making them aware that when you actively work on your own mental health, you can prevent the symptoms from getting worse.
After many years of research with Eva Faas, we developed different tools based on scientifically proven methods to be effective in the early stages of a mental illness, i.e. psycho-education, support groups, questionnaires, and tracking of mood and behaviours.
We will launch iloveme on April 23rd in Dutch. After receiving feedback, we want to release a second version of the app also in English. We are seeking investment to do this, and a strategic partner who is strong with business strategy and growth strategies.
