How does the unlock feature actually work for password-protected PDFs, and is there a file size or daily limit on the free tier?

@tansuq8ap Our PDF Unlock tool works by removing password protection from a PDF after you enter the correct password. Once the correct password is provided, the file is unlocked, allowing you to view, edit, print, copy, or share it without entering the password again. Your files are processed securely, and for your privacy, they are automatically deleted from our servers after processing.
On the free tier, there are no daily usage limits, so you can unlock PDFs whenever you need.

How does the unlocking feature work for password-protected PDFs, and is there any file size limit on the free tier I should know about before uploading larger documents?

@ayferekiolrsu6 Our PDF Unlock tool removes password protection from a PDF after you enter the correct password. Once unlocked, you can access the document without needing to enter the password again, making it easier to view, edit, print, or share your file. All uploaded files are processed securely and automatically deleted after processing to protect your privacy.
The free tier supports most standard PDF files and includes a maximum file size limit for each upload. If your document exceeds the allowed size, you'll need to compress it or split it into smaller files before uploading. This helps ensure fast processing and reliable performance for all users.

Would love to see batch OCR built in so I can extract text from a whole folder of scanned PDFs at once instead of doing them one by one. That would be a real time saver.

@nazmiyebaysytm Thank you for the suggestion! We appreciate your feedback. Batch OCR is a great feature idea, especially for users who need to extract text from multiple scanned PDFs at once. It's something we're considering for a future update, as it would save time and make document processing much more efficient. For now, OCR is available on individual PDF files, but we're always working to improve the experience based on user feedback.

the fact that all of these tools load right in the browser without forcing a sign-up first is such a relief, and the clean drag-and-drop zone makes it obvious where to start. nice work keeping it functional instead of cluttered with upsells.

Merged two PDFs and resized a batch of photos in under a minute, no signups or watermarks. Honestly impressed it all worked smoothly right in the browser.
Merged two PDFs in under a minute and the file size dropped way more than I expected. The interface is clean enough that I didn't have to hunt around for the merge button.
