You have to be a Unix nerd to enjoy these. There used to be a unix utility called fortune that would print out a quote or bit of interesting text when you logged in (if you had it in your .bashrc or whatever). That utility was fed by user submitted fortune files. So I took all those fortune files from various Linux distributions and put an API on top of them. Try this from an OSX shell:
