I’m a huge NY Times Games head. They have great game mechanics, but the writers limit the ability for a non-American to enjoy the game, and non-English never even get to participate. I saw a huge gap here, verified it on subreddits, and made Shabdify. Shabdify is an Indian word game, inspired by NY Times Connections. The rules are simple, there are 16 words, in 4 groups of 4, but the words are jumbled. The point of the game is to guess which 4 words are together. They could be grouped together by similar cultural reference, movies, linguistics…anything.
