I’ve always been frustrated with note-taking apps getting in the way of my ideation. On a plane and trying to take notes? Sorry, internet required. Have two seconds before a meeting? Sorry, you’ll need to log in again. Open the app for the first time? Sorry, you need to build your "ideation foundation" first, should only take 5 minutes. I want to ideate without distractions. That’s why I created Ideas Down. I use two types of brainstorming: divergent and convergent. In divergent brainstorming, no idea is a bad idea. Ideas Down is perfect for this—every idea gets recorded. Writing it down clears my mind so I can keep generating new ideas. In convergent brainstorming, it’s time to act on those ideas. You might add them to your to-do list, turn them into research tasks, or decide to do nothing with them. Not all ideas need action, but if you don’t jot them down, they might just get stuck in your head. One miscellaneous bit - Google Play has made it challenging for indie developers to launch on their platform. New app developers now need to find 20 testers before they can fully release their apps. If you have an Android phone and a bit of free time, I’d greatly appreciate your help in testing my app! (https://forms.gle/n8t7B3texMwnUnwQ7)

Absolutely love the concept behind Ideas Down! As a maker myself, I totally get the frustration with traditional note-taking apps. It's so liberating to have something that allows you to jot down ideas without any distractions or logins. Your approach to both divergent and convergent brainstorming is spot on. This could really help in maximizing creativity without those annoying interruptions. Can't wait to try it out! Also, I’d be happy to support your testing phase on Android, @sillysideprojects! Let's ship this!
