What do you think? …

Thanks a lot @cadeuh We do not push the EDM because it's just a genre of electronic music, it's not The electronic music ;) You can not listen to audio uploaded by users; yes you will lose some of them, but you will always find those original ones that will never be fake ;)

I'm having a real tough time signing up due to the hard limit on 10 DJs. It's high, but also most of my favorites - at varying levels of popularity - aren't an option. (Gigamesh, Poolside, Nicolay, ASTR, Dawn of Midi, Danger, Gramatik, Kaytranada, Chromeo, RAC ... even Daft Punk are missing.) So it's not just "10 DJs you like", it's "10 DJs that you like and we've signed up manually"? And my experience with things like Pandora and even Twitter make me hesitant to "+Respect" people I don't know for fear of training the site poorly or just filling my feed with spam. Counting down negative numbers is a (minorly) demoralizing way to mark my progress toward 10 :) Also, confusing. For a minute I thought I'd selected more than 10 and found a bug where the number goes negative and doesn't let me continue. Is it a bug that while signing up, I can click the artists' name/URL? It changes the browser URL, eg https://lab.iam.dj/soulclap, but that has no other effect. I was expecting to get at least more info on the artist, if not hear clips as others have suggested here. Would be especially useful given that by the end, I'm forced to respect DJs I haven't heard before. +1 to continuous play. I want to explore, connect, and listen all in the same place. BTW, I don't want to sound too negative here. I love the idea of a "friendfeed for artists." Looking forward to future updates.

Love this at a high level (haven't gotten a chance to play around with this in depth yet), but I've been looking for something like this for quite some time. I want to follow a ton of artists and be up to date on their performances, their singles/mixes/soundclouds, etc., their EP/LP releases through Bandcamp and iTunes, and get a bit of their personality through Twitter. Twitter takes care of a lot of this, but the reason I don't follow or unfollow so many artists is because of how much they retweet followers and it clogs up my feed. And there's nothing which brings everything together to one place in a good way. I'm not big into EDM so the artists I can follow on here are limited, but I'm really looking for something like this for everything.

@kunaalarya I'm glad that you have noticed our "twitter filtering" feature, because we really care a lot about it. We are able to synchronize just only DJs' tweets and retweets between DJs. Stay tuned!
