what a cool idea @whizzzoe !
Just tested on some random links to see if the summaries created would be meaningful, and some worked well whilst others didn't.
For instance, with https://www.forbes.com/sites/onm... it would make sense to grab the sub-titles and summarise those into bullet points. Instead, the app grabbed some section of text that doesn't really summarise the key takeaways from the article.
So maybe this is something you could look to improve in future updates?

Hi Zoe Chew, I appreciate this idea and am inspired by your work, as I enjoy optimizations as well. Know you are focused on your future vision with your goals and workflows -- though wanted to ask, in case this is in your pipeline: Would there be a Chrome Extension Availability in the works?
Cheers and onwards and upwards! :)

Awesome! I tried it with a few articles and it found the key points well and summarised it cleanly. Very clever!

@jjmu15 Thank you so much, Jamie! I'm glad to hear your thoughts regarding this. 🙏

This is cool! Small bug: it seems like you forgot an array join().
I get something like "['LONDON — Theresa May announced Friday...', '...', '...', 'Last month...']"

@grooveplex Thank you so much, Barend! 🙏 I'm so grateful that you share with me the bugs. Yeah I'll def keep that in mind to remove/filter the special characters 😅

Very nice. A cool expansion would be a "front page" that already has summaries for all the big stories from a variety of outlets.

@t_bone Thank you! I love the idea you suggest! Like an aggregated summarized news portal. That'd be something cool to add in future!

Well done Zoe! I tried it out on some crypto articles published recently. It summarises them very well. I'd like to see it bring the title of the article in... maybe extract the H1 or try for the metadata.
I'm guessing the next logical step is to build a SaaS where subscribers can choose topics and have their news feed automatically generated and summarised for them each morning!

Also congrats on the No.1 Product of the Day!

@kodemunki Thank you Jurgen! I'm glad it works for you! Yeah I should consider adding the H1 before the URL link generated on the result page. SaaS is a great idea and getting brief news each morning is so awesome!😊
