I did it! helps parents and kids agree on tasks and how much screen time each one earns. A child reports a finished task, a parent checks and approves, and the minutes are theirs to spend with a simple timer. • Repeating tasks for daily routines • Kids can suggest tasks themselves • One shared device or separate phones (iOS and Android) • No ads on kid screens, no email or password sign-up • English, Japanese, German, Korean, Traditional Chinese It doesn’t lock other apps or devices.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Sato.M from SKIMA ENGINEERING in Tokyo. Thanks for stopping by!
Why I built this: a hard screen-time lockout is one-sided, and it doesn't teach kids how to manage their time. It also gets in the way of real life. Schools send notices that need a smartphone, so I end up unlocking things on the fly, and when I'm at work and can't respond right away, that can be a problem in an emergency.
I'd rather have kids learn to manage their time themselves. I did it! is built around that. Parent and child agree on a task and the minutes it earns. The child reports it, the parent checks and approves, and then the minutes are theirs to use with a visual timer. Along the way they practice stopping on their own when time is up, saving minutes for later, and suggesting extra tasks. My hope is that kids come away able to manage their own time.
A few design decisions I'd love feedback on:
Time only goes up when a parent approves. A child's report alone never adds minutes.
The kid screens have no ads, no external links and no permission prompts.
Records live on the device. The server only holds delivery data for a short time, and profile names are encrypted before they sync.
It does not lock other apps or devices. It's a tool for agreeing on time together, not enforcing it.
It's on iOS and Android, in English, Japanese, German, Korean and Traditional Chinese, and works on one shared device or on separate phones.
I'm curious how other families handle this: how do you balance screen-time limits with staying reachable for school messages and emergencies?
Happy to answer anything!
