Hi everyone, I m building HyperSparks because watching my neurodivergent son face intense isolation on traditional dating apps broke my heart. Mainstream platforms feel like a sensory and social minefield. As I finalize our early design, I want to hear directly from this community. What is the single biggest thing traditional apps get wrong for ADHD, autistic, or neurodivergent minds? Is it the visual clutter? The pressure of superficial swiping? The awkward small talk?Your feedback will directly shape our features. If you want to help us break and perfect the app, let me know below and I ll send you an early beta tester link!
A small idea from someone who knows a few folks with sensory needs: add a customizable "energy level" indicator on profiles that users can update daily, so matches can quickly tell whether today is a good day for a long chat or just a quick check-in. It would take a lot of the guesswork out of planning conversations and reduce unintentional overwhelm.
@kkocatepe59352 there is a setting for this in the chat, however moving it to the home page for easier access is a great idea. Thank you
One thing that would help me is a "pause notifications for X hours" toggle right on the home screen. Sensory overload isn't always instant for me, sometimes I just need a couple hours of quiet mid-day without digging through settings every time.
@esrakalkmazo I really like this idea! Thank you
