We built this because editing stored Amazon SES templates is slow. For example, changing the subject of a password reset email means pulling the JSON with the AWS CLI, editing it, and pushing it back. So most copy changes end up with a developer.

Huskar Templates is a visual editor that publishes straight to SES. You design with blocks and set Handlebars conditions and loops on the blocks. You preview with sample profiles in inbox frames. And you publish through an IAM role you create, which can manage templates but can't send email or read recipient data.

Things it doesn't do yet: it doesn't send email, the previews are frames rather than real client renders, and there are only 5 starter templates.

You can open the editor as a guest, no account needed. The Free plan covers 1 AWS account and 10 templates if you want to publish.
