I made HuntOMeter, so you can predict your success on ProductHunt – just from a tagline of your product alone. Because, well... "The best MVP is no MVP." 🤠 ✨ IT WORKS LIKE THIS: ✨ You type in a tagline for your product. Then, we'll run it against the 19,500+ products that have launched on ProductHunt up to this day. We find the products that are most similar to what you have described -- and, based on this data, calculate the number of upvotes your product is likely to receive. Basically, we're letting historical ProductHunt vote on your idea. And you don't have to post or build anything for this to work. ⛑ WHY DID I BUILD THIS? ⛑ My last launch on ProductHunt failed. It was painful, because I had spend about a month building my MVP. And I thought, "Man! Had I know that so few people are interested in this, I could have spent this time on this other idea." I had to learn to build an MVP to figure out which product is worth building. Now, I started looking for a way to figure out which idea is worth turning into an MVP! :) That's how HuntOMeter was born. I've built this for myself. As a tool to build more tools. Deciding which of your ideas to turn into reality? Type in your ideas and see which ones score the highest. Get a feel for what's where to invest your time -- even before building an MVP. Looking for product ideas? Find what others have built in your niche. See what has been working well in the past, so you can refine your own ideas. Want to get motivated? Build confidence in your idea by cross-validating against successful launches from the past. Turn that one "big moment of truth" into a feedback loop that guides you from day one. ❤️ MORE COOL STUFF ❤️ HuntOMeter will show you the listings on ProductHunt that are semantically the most similar to what you typed in. You can see when they launched and how many upvotes they got. And you can jump straight to their listing. HuntOMeter will also be able to generate variations of your product description, and automatically select those that are predicted to perform best. I'd also like to build a "map" of topics that are most in-demand with the ProductHunt crowd at any given time.
