I've been part of many handmade communities, where creators, artists, and small shop owners struggle to stand out in an online world flooded with AI-generated products. The rise of AI content is making it harder for buyers to recognize authentic, human-made work, and it’s becoming a real challenge in e-commerce platforms. That’s why I decided to build an industry standard to distinguish human-made products. As AI-generated content grows, the value of human craftsmanship will rise—but only if we have a clear way to showcase it. Human Commons aims to give creators and shop owners the tools to stand out from AI junk and ensure that real artistry gets the recognition (and sales) it deserves.
