Hi Product Hunt!
I’m super excited to share HueRecall with you all today!
As someone who loves both clean design and quick, engaging games, I wanted to create a fun way to test and train color memory. That's how HueRecall was born.
What makes it fun:
- **Toon Tone-style Rounds:** You only get 5 seconds to memorize the vibrant cartoon colors.
- **Precision Rebuilding:** Use the Hue, Saturation, and Brightness (HSB) sliders to match the original colors as closely as possible.
- **Shareable Scores:** Compete with friends and see who has the ultimate color instinct!
Whether you are a designer who works with colors daily or just looking for a quick brain break, I'd love for you to give it a spin.
I’ll be here all day to answer your questions, listen to your feedback, and hear your ideas for future updates. What’s your highest score? Let me know!

The HSB sliders add a nice twist to standard color memory games, actually making you think about how the shade breaks down. Got stumped on a soft lavender round but the 5-second timer keeps it feeling snappy rather than stressful.

Love the toon tone rounds, the HSB sliders feel really satisfying to dial in. One thing I'd love is a daily seed mode so everyone gets the same set of colors on a given day, then you could climb a shared leaderboard with friends instead of just your personal best.

A daily challenge mode with a fixed seed for the round so everyone competes on the same colors would be awesome. You could show a global leaderboard for that day, which would make people want to come back and try again instead of just playing once.

Took a quick round of HueRecall and the 5-second timer actually makes you focus, not panic. The HSB sliders feel way more satisfying than just picking from a palette.
