@tomcharde Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Some of our users have been seeing some strange layout issues that we haven't been able to replicate. I made some changes to our caching solution in order to fix this, do you mind telling me are you still seeing this issue?

@harzzn Cleared caches on both browsers, but not seeing any difference from the original screenshots.

Looks great.
1. Blog is not working. After all WordPress is for Blogging right? Its just making it as another page. Why not search for blog.html in to blog list by finding repeat patters, and blog-single for blog post?
2. Why splitting each
in to different text box? May be you could split by sections.
3. Menu is really not WP menu?
Instead if directly converting, ask user a set of questions that make helpful when converting eg: Do you have a blog page? If yes, select one.
So far, Its really a first iteration, Looking forward to it...
@surjithctly #1 and #3 is doable via adding CSS classes: http://htmltowordpress.io/docs/
#2 is a fair point, we'll have a look at it :)
But we'll be adding a visual tool to do add these features very soon.

Any plans to allow converting of a website to Wordpress using URLs instead of the source folder? Would be great to paste in a URL of a website and have it take care of the rest.
@mattsilv Yeah we could quite easily build a crawler on top. Currently you'd have to use another crawling service for this.

Wow Henrik, this is exactly what I was looking for.
So as I understand right, the exported theme does also accept Wordpress shortcodes etc?
2d Before exporting it to a Wordpress theme it allows you to edit the page in a visual designer.
When you import this theme to your website, does it use the same editor then, or the normal Wordpress editor?

@henrikharju I'm impressed, but a little confused about what the zip file should include. Is there a "sample site" to show how to provide a package to your tool?

I've tried this a couple of times - just uploading my HTML and testing the result. First time the upload worked, but the theme had problems: no styles loading cause there an error in the conversion. I reached out to support but never heard back. The second time, the upload wouldn't work, even though it was basically the same site I had uploaded previously. Tried a few different times in different browsers and got the 500 error message each time.
Lots of broken links on the site as well leaves me thinking this is not quite ready for real production use.
Too bad, as it seems like it could be a great service if it was more mature.
