Hronaut is a source-available desktop browser workspace for coding agents on Windows, macOS and Linux. Keep named isolated workspaces, tabs and browser storage between sessions over local/loopback MCP. Manually pause agents and take over for sign-in or consequential actions. Not a hosted browser service. One 10-day trial from the first agent tool call, then $4/month or $24/year per named user, up to 3 active devices. Video is an illustrated overview with an earlier UI.

One thought from testing Hronaut: keeping browser state and granting access to it are two different decisions.
An agent conversation can end while the useful work is still sitting in a tab. I want that state to survive without assuming that every new agent session should inherit access to it.
We recorded a small example: one MCP test client opens a local checklist, checks an item, then disconnects. The tab and checked state remain. A second client cannot access the workspace using its ID alone; it needs the private resume capability. A fresh snapshot then confirms the same checked result.
34-second demo, captions and exact test scope
That is the direction I want Hronaut to take: useful continuity, explicit access, and a result you can check—not just an agent saying “done.”
Where would this help your workflow most: continuing browser QA across agent sessions, taking over manually, or checking what actually happened after an interrupted run?
Scope: real Hronaut 2.4.24 source build, synthetic local page and MCP SDK test clients. This is not an app-restart, installer or named AI-client compatibility test. Maker update prepared with AI assistance.
