Imagine the challenges I faced when applying for a new laptop at my previous workplace. I made a request, waited for two days for my request to be approved by my line manager(while I check on him repeatedly to remind him of my request) after he approves my request, I then take the form and submits to the finance department showing them that my request was approved, they get it then asked me to wait, while waiting the finance department then sends my form to the country head for final approval, after the approval I then get reimbursed and finally got my laptop after 5 - 10 working days. I considered this as a huge problem, because my work was delayed(I had no laptop) we would have prevented this if our processes were automated. With the above experience I had to suggest that the company build a fund request system, where all the processes are automated and done within 1 - 2 working days. Which I built and maintained. We have a major problem in businesses, and the problem is non automation and delays in work processes. They tend to waste time mismanaging data and other resources instead of adapting to technology which is obviously the future. A lot of companies don’t even document and track human services, the time their employees spend in doing some certain things, they get disorganised when employees tend to apply for leaves, apply for a new gadgets, apply for some physical products to make work easier, they don’t know that they can actually do this on the cloud and get it approved immediately there is a buzz on the phone or the laptop. That’s where we come in, we want to help companies by different categories streamline their work processes, either financial companies, medical companies, logistics companies etc. Based on their categories with our sharp minds and consultants we will build and maintain tools that will definitely make work easier for them, we will have our own APIs that Smes can consume.
