HowFew turns your remaining time into something you can see and feel — inspired by Memento Mori. ✦ COUNTDOWN — Days, weeks, or years left. A Stoic quote every day. ✦ LIFE SCROLL — 900 squares, one per month. Past glows gold. Future waits in shadow. ✦ LIFE SCALE — How many meals left? Weekends? Times you'll see your parents? ✦ BONDS — Track time alongside the people you love.

the framing is what'll make or break this for a lot of people - "24 Christmas dinners left with my dad" can land as clarifying and motivate you to actually call him, or it can just sit as a background dread you open the app and immediately regret. have you seen a split in how people react to the countdown itself, and did you build in any way to soften it (streaks of gratitude, prompts to actually act on a bond, etc) versus just showing the raw shrinking number?
How does the BONDS feature actually work day to day — do both people need the app, or can you link with someone who doesn't use it?
@zyi Congrats on the Launch. Great asthetics, Love the life scroll feature. feels like a github for life events. Intrigued with the bond feature, its it for family and close relationships or friends circle too?
Does the birth date entry stay local on the device, or does it sync to any server? Curious how private this kind of data stays since it gets pretty personal.
The concept of counting meals or weekends left is really powerful, but I'd love a way to log actual moments with people in the Bonds section — like a small note after each hangout that I could look back on later. Would make the whole app feel less like a timer and more like a memory keeper alongside the countdown.
the life scroll with 900 squares is genuinely clever — visually flipping a lifetime into a grid you can actually scan in seconds makes the whole memento mori concept land instead of feeling preachy.
