Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Excited (and a little nervous) to launch Housemash today! Here’s why we built this: quick commerce apps have made 10-minute delivery normal, but the pricing is rough — supermarket-pack deals are usually locked to bulk-buy customers, and delivery costs push prices even higher. On the flip side, quick commerce companies themselves are stuck in a tough spot — high CAC, high delivery costs, and low AOV make the model hard to sustain. We thought: what if neighbors just… bought together? Housemash lets you group up with friends or neighbours in your area to unlock high pricing on everyday essentials — while we batch deliveries within the same neighborhood, which cuts delivery costs significantly. It’s a win on both sides: you get lower prices and bigger baskets feel worth it, and we get to acquire users organically through the groups themselves (turns out your neighbor is a pretty good growth channel 😄). We’re already at 500 users and growing purely through word-of-mouth and group invites — no big ad spend yet.
