Would love to see a simple overtime and break rule auto calculator built in, like flagging anything over 8 hours a day or automatically deducting a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Would save me from having to double check the math before I mark payroll as paid.
@hanifeerhal Hey Hanife, good news on overtime — that's already built in and configurable per business, with a default of 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week at 1.5x, so that part covers what you're asking for.
On lunch deductions specifically: right now it works a bit differently than an automatic 30-minute deduction — workers clock out for their break and clock back in after, so that time is naturally excluded from their hours. It's not a forced automatic deduction if someone forgets to clock out, though, so I hear the difference you're pointing at. I'll note this as a potential feature for a future update — appreciate you flagging it!
honestly love that employees can just clock in through the browser without downloading yet another app, that kind of zero-friction choice is exactly what hourly teams actually need
