Hourvest

I was inspired by the idea that time is the real cost behind most things we do online, yet it’s rarely visible. I often found myself browsing, shopping, or “just passing time” without a clear sense of how those moments added up or what they were worth. The goal wasn’t to optimize or judge behavior, but to make time visible and easier to understand. I wanted a tool that quietly reflects patterns back to the user and lets them decide what those insights mean. While building Hourvest, the approach evolved from simple time tracking to a more thoughtful system that distinguishes work and personal time and translates both time and prices into relatable terms. The focus stayed on clarity, privacy, and keeping everything configurable and local to the user.
