I built HostClaw because I kept seeing the same problem: people get excited about OpenClaw, then lose momentum in setup.
The promise is simple, but the path isn’t. You have to buy and configure a server, handle SSH, install dependencies, connect model providers, pair Telegram, keep processes alive, and troubleshoot when something breaks. For most founders and operators, that overhead kills adoption before they ever get value.
HostClaw is my attempt to remove that infrastructure tax. The goal is to make OpenClaw usable in minutes, not days, so teams can focus on workflows and outcomes instead of DevOps chores.
What I’m trying to solve:
Faster time-to-first-value with OpenClaw
Setup that non-technical teammates can actually use
More reliable day-2 operations (updates, uptime, less brittle setup)
If you’ve tried OpenClaw before and bounced off setup, I’d love your feedback on where the friction was highest.
