@home Vacation Rentals aims to maximise the potential of holiday homes by enabling the homeowners to homeswap during the times that the properties are empty. The idea behind it is to not only use the property to generate income for its owners by short term renting, but also to enable homeowners all over the world to swap their vacation homes amongst themselves saving homeowners money when they go on vacation.

Great App. UX is nice, everything works well. I like it, this new opportunity to swap homes with other people is interesting. But there's some question there: if X usually rent his house 200$ a day and wants to swap his house with Y for a week that usually rent his house 150$, Y owes money to X?

And I could probably add, HomeVR, when I first read it, I thought it was about virtual reality, nothing important but that's what I thought first when reading the name of the app

App is really easy to use and it is even a pleasure so that's really nice, for you, what is the main difference between your app and AirBnB?

@arthur_leclercq Not at all. The Homeswap option groups houses that are similar ( size, number of bedrooms, amenities etc) so that houses are swapped with similar houses. Of course the X has a 500$ per night house and wants to swap it for a 250$ house that's Xs prerogative. But no money is exchanged on the Homeswap.

@arthur_leclercq you're right. The company name is @home Vacation Rentals, which is a bit of a mouthful. But you're right, it can be misunderstood.

@arthur_leclercq 2 main differences are that we have the Homeswap option and that we don't charge any fees at all to the hosts. The guests pay a fee but the homeowners pay us nothing.

Love the idea of not letting unbooked days go to waste! I believe that’s a fantastic feature allowing hosts to get some benefit in return as well.
