And I always really wanted to. So I built Strict Mode a feature that prevents you from deleting the app while a focus session is running. Three emergency unlocks per month if you genuinely need out. That is it. No other escape route. The rest of holdit.life came from the same place: what actually changes behavior versus what just feels productive? Streaks work because losing a 14-day streak genuinely hurts in a way a screen time notification never does. Custom focus modes (Deep Work, Meditation, Sleep, Family Time) work because different contexts need different blocking lists.
