Hello, Product Hunt! 🎉 We're thrilled to be back for our second launch, and we can't wait to share all the exciting updates we've made! - Improved the overall design and user experience on the platform for it to be more intuitive and user-friendly. - Added a zero-knowledge security model and client-side encryption to ensure that the data is encrypted before leaving the user's browser and the data being sent to the server is already encrypted to ensure complete privacy. - An Access Password is now required to derive and decrypt the encryption key, enabling secure copying and creation of .env files. - Solo-hustlers can now create UNLIMITED projects and manage UNLIMITED .env files with our Solo plan—all for the price of a couple of beers! Back Story: When I am about to revive my old project from the grave, I was not able to do so quickly because of a single file, my .env file. Where I put all of my sensitive keys and other configuration variables. I was able to revive it but it took me the whole day to fix all of my environment variables. Then, the idea of Hold My Env came to life. The name "Hold My Env" was derived from "Hold My Beer" humor where i find it catchy and easy to remember. The idea is simple, create a project, paste the contents of your .env file and share it to your teammates. We handle the encryption, storage and the centralized management of your .env files so you could revive or redeploy your projects whenever you want. I am excited for this second launch and looking forward for any feedback that could help improve the platform. Cheers! Ray
