Hippo Roller

Re-inventing the wheel: 750 million people in Africa and Asia struggle daily to access water. Water collection points are often located far away from their homes: 2 – 10 km. This is typically done with heavy 20 litre buckets balanced on their head. The Hippo Roller enables women, children and the elderly to collect up to 5x more water than a single bucket. Users simply roll the Hippo Roller along the ground. It improves water access, food security and income generation.
