Hintveil turns one iPhone into an imposter game for 3–12 friends. Give AI a theme and choose who’s playing, the age range, tone, and difficulty. It generates related word pairs, then checks relevance, safety, balance, and duplicates before you save and refine the deck. AI creates the content—not the suspicion; friends still give clues, debate, and vote. The offline game and decks are free. AI creation and editing require an active subscription and internet; saved decks remain playable offline.
What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?

I built Hintveil end-to-end with GPT-6 Astra as my vibe-coding partner. Astra helped turn the initial game concept into a polished, testable one-phone product, including the game flow, iOS interface, AI deck workflow, validation logic, and offline-play experience. The production deck generator currently uses DeepSeek; Astra’s role was the development and product-building process, not the runtime model. With the product Astra helped build, players can describe a theme, choose the players, age range, tone, and difficulty, then generate related word pairs that are checked for topic fit, safety, balance, duplicates, and weak pairs before being saved. This made personalized, playable game content practical without manually preparing every deck.

Fixed party-game decks get stale, and generic words rarely feel like your group. Hintveil lets you start with a theme—your college reunion, team offsite, family trip, or an inside interest—and tell AI who’s playing and what tone you want. It generates a deck of related word pairs, checks relevance, safety, balance, and duplicates, and lets you refine saved decks. AI builds the deck; people bring the clues, bluffing, debate, and votes. The offline game is free; AI creation and editing require an active subscription and internet. What would your table ask Hintveil to generate?
