A photo is great but a quick text label when you mark the spot would be super helpful, especially for things that all look similar like boxes in storage. That way I can just type "winter coats" instead of squinting at a tiny image later.

At the moment, you can already add a short note to each item, as well as a detailed close-up image of the object itself if needed.
The main idea of the app is usually to remember the general location (e.g. is it in the basement, the attic, or the garage?) rather than exactly which box it’s in. That said, you can absolutely place the marker on the exact box or spot if that’s important.
I’ll definitely keep your suggestion in mind though, as I can see how a dedicated label for the marked location could be useful in some situations.
Finally something that solves a real problem, I lose track of stuff in my garage constantly. Set it up in under a minute and found my hedge trimmers right where I left them.

As a student, I don’t hide the eggs myself 😄
