Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m excited to introduce Hide — a Chrome extension built to help people take back control of their social media experience. The idea came from a simple problem: platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram are incredibly useful, but it's easy to get pulled into endless Shorts, Reels, Stories, and other distracting content. I didn't want to stop using these platforms. I just wanted more control over what I see. So I built Hide. With Hide, you can selectively hide distracting content across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram — including Shorts, Reels, Stories, videos, and more. You choose what stays and what goes. The goal isn't to block social media completely. It's to make using it more intentional. Hide has already grown to thousands of active weekly users, and we're continuing to improve it based on real user feedback.
