There’s always a guy who ruins a group photo by blinking or looking away from the camera or making faces. Taking pictures of kids can make it twice as hard. And the worst thing is when you find out the photo is spoiled only afterward when you cannot take another shot. That’s why we made HeyPhoto πŸ“·, a free online service to help you edit faces in photos with no effort at all. All you need is to upload a photo and drag the slider here and there. No special skills required, no need to hire someone, no need to regret someone spoiling a precious moment. Fix the problem in a couple of clicks and enjoy a perfect photo. The tools we already have: 🐀 Look at bird Drag the cute yellow bird around the photo to make the person look where you want. 😎 Anonymize me Replace the face in the photo with a synthetic look-alike. A great way to stay safe online and give people an idea of your appearance without risk. πŸ˜€ Gimme a smile Adjust the way a person in the photo smiles. From a wisp of a smile to a radiant grin. πŸ€ͺ Tweak emotions Smiling is not the only emotion in HeyPhoto's arsenal. Try fear, anger, surprise, and disgust. πŸ‘© πŸ‘¨ Change gender Make the person in the photo appear more masculine or feminine. πŸ‘Ά πŸ‘΄ Change my age Age faces up or down. Works like a charm, even with the photos of Tom Cruise. And there's more to come! Soon, we will add more options: πŸ‘ƒ nose and 😢 face shape editor, πŸ‘„ digital makeup, πŸ§” hairstyles, and more.

@visualpharm oh this looks amazing, clean and easy for us unartistic folks :)

@holyscapegoat Thanks! That was the goal: help people fix imperfections without any extra skills. Get things done without learning special tools, hiring a pro, and losing time and money.

@holyscapegoat Thanks! The future is here πŸ’ͺ

Love it, looking forward to more features being added in the future! But one question β€” what made you guys go with an online tool instead of an app? Any particular reasons behind that choice?
Paul Malaj
@meninol Freedom is behind this choice πŸ™‚ We all had fun with those apps, but mobile apps have downsides that web apps do not. With HeyPhoto being web-based, you can tweak photos from your laptop or mobile and have the original quality preserved, even upscaled. So, if you need a quick edit and have only your phone, you can use it from your phone. But if you need to process a batch of photos and make them look good on any screen or fix flaws and get high-res images for printing... Imagine the pain of watching for photo details on a tiny phone screen and missing imperfections that are visible only on a big screen. Here is a sample of what I made in a few clicks. Fixed the gaze direction for the guy on the left and made the one in the yellow shirt smile. Source image Result

Just created old photos of Barbie and Ken with your tool. Maybe it will be the next part of the movie? Something like "Barbie: 40 years laterβ€πŸ˜‚πŸ’–

@lareecasp Haha, if we talk about Barbie, this is how Aqua’s song could sound for HeyPhoto πŸ˜ƒ β€œYou can change my age, make smile me everywhere Imagination, it’s HeyPhoto’s creation”
Lindsay Davis
@lareecasp Haha, that sounds like a fantastic idea!πŸ˜„ "Barbie: 40 years later" would definitely be a great movie concept! πŸŽ¬πŸ‘΄πŸ‘΅

Congrats on the launch guys! That's a fun tool! I've tried it on some selfies and some group pics with my friends. Already think it'll be handy for a friend's birthday party. Note to others: try it on animals, the result may surprise you :D
Lindsay Davis

I like it. Congrats on the launch. 5 years ago I did rhinoplasty on my nose. That time I tried to understand how my nose could look like after the surgery. And I couldn't find any app. My doctor made me a model but only in profile, not in full face. So I could only try to imagine and be afraid of the result. However, my nose is perfect. Thanks God and my Doctor. So I understand the actuality the feature of the nose. And you can also promote your app with this idea. My friend did hair transplant operation. If you add this feature also It would be great and another way of promoting your app. I like the website and idea.

@anna_kasumova Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! 😊 We're thrilled that you like our tool and find the feature of visualizing how your nose could look after surgery relevant and helpful πŸš€ It means a lot to us that HeyPhoto could potentially assist others who might be considering such procedures, just like you were years ago πŸ’« We plan to launch the nose editor sometime this fall. So, stay tuned!
Ivan Braun
@anna_kasumova it could be done; in fact, https://generated.photos/face-ge... could do something opposite, make you semi-bald. though you wouldn't have much control over the shape of the nose or hairline. Congratulations on your perfect nose!
Anna Kasumova
@visualpharm thank you Ivan!
