Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Hey Prompt because I kept seeing the same pattern everywhere: Instagram reels, Twitter threads, and AI creators saying "comment and I’ll send you the prompt". I would save some of those prompts, lose others, rewrite a few from memory, and eventually realized I wanted a simple place to use and reuse good prompts directly inside the AI tools I already work in. That became the starting point for Hey Prompt. It started as a lightweight Chrome extension to save useful prompts and bring them back when needed. Then I added the parts I personally wanted as an AI engineer: one-click prompt optimization, quick refinement questions, support for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Lovable, plus a small prompt library. I had built a few side projects before. A couple worked, many became lessons. This one feels closer to my actual edge because I work with AI in my day job, and I know how much better the output gets when the input is clearer. Hey Prompt is still early, but the goal is simple: help people stop hunting for prompts and start building their own reusable prompt workflow.
