The coolness of this is underappreciated IMO. Downloading now, excited to test it out on my dad's iPhone 7. I'm surprised Apple hasn't attempted to release this for older iPhones yet 🤔

TBH apple will always up sell their products @nickabouzeid. So if you want one with Portrait mode they will always ask you to upgrade to the plus models or the iPhone X.

I really miss the option where you can choose an image already in the camera roll to applay background blur

@jonas_petermann no problem! They mention it in the description but it’s not showing up for me in Photos 😕 any luck?

@marawan_1997 I have found out how: you have to tap edit on a photo on than click the three „...“ dots in the circle and there you have to activate HeroShot first... now I just hope there will eventually be an update to be able to choose the blur amount and a way to manually select the blur area.

Just tried this out. I have an 8 Plus so there's no Portrait mode for the front facing camera. It works REALLY well. Just wish front facing would have flash capabilities if the phone has the feature.

@pe_feeds you can use it with normal photos in your camera roll as well. Read my other comment here to show you how...

It's not great. It's just a uniform background blur. Usually blurs my shirt too

A very perfect app, don't change anything in it, don't add any filter or anything, this is just as beautiful minimalistic as much it is needed. Just do one thing in app crop option to resize it. Even if need to add any feature, make another app but keep this minimalistic clean as it is. Loved it.
