Helios

This one's topical because of the recent SMS-voting that took place in Mongolia. After I tweeted about this, Helios developer @benadida shared a link to his post on American Idol online voting from 2011 pointing out some of the challenges in bringing online voting to the masses. You can read his thesis on Advances in Cryptographic Voting Systems here. I'm sure there are other solutions out there, but it's fascinating to me that in 2015, we still can't vote on American elections using our mobile devices. I understand many of the reasons why this is the case, but c'mon Uhmer'ka! Let's fix this!
