Helen AI started from a very personal frustration. At one point, I was searching for a job and kept feeling like I was not even getting a fair chance to show what I could do. I knew I was qualified, in some cases even overqualified, but the process often ended before a real conversation happened. No interview, no explanation, just silence. That experience stayed with me. I kept thinking: if an AI interviewer had spoken with me first, asked structured questions, listened to my answers, and evaluated me consistently, the outcome might have been different. It could have flipped the cards in my case. It could have helped an employer see the person behind the CV. That became one of the motives behind building Helen AI. We wanted to create a hiring process where every candidate gets a real opportunity to be heard, and every company gets a faster, more consistent way to identify strong people. While building Helen, the idea evolved from simply “automating interviews” into something bigger: making high-volume hiring more fair, structured, and human, even through AI. Helen was built for companies, but the motivation came from both sides of the table: the employer who needs to hire faster, and the candidate who deserves a real chance.
